As if a global health pandemic were not enough to challenge the health and safety of farm workers and people living in our jails and prisons… Now, wildfires, heat, and smoke are providing additional threats to these communities we serve who are too often excluded from the necessary rights and protections afforded others.

Every day, we’re working to reveal these harms and create enforceable protections and opportunities that ease the impacts of these compounding crises. And in no way do we do this work alone. We’re thankful for the communities we serve and we’re a part of. For our allies, co-counsel, coalitions, and elected champions. We’re thankful for you!

At 2020 Imagine Justice, a virtual event, you’ll hear stories about the powerful advocacy we all do, together, to respond to the voices and needs of marginalized communities, provide access to the courts, hold government accountable, and work toward transforming, not just reforming, systems of oppression.

Starting today, you can register to 2020 Virtual Imagine Justice! In the spirit of equity, we want to make our annual event accessible to as many people as possible – it’s free and it’s online so you can join from anywhere (and you don’t have to worry about parking!). Plus, we’re providing Spanish-language interpretation! You are welcome to support our work with a gift – while you’re registering, or at the event. Mainly, we want you to join us.
