As our offices across Washington pause for a year-end rest, I am filled with gratitude for our incredible staff. All year, this team shows up for our clients, communities, and one another. Whether answering phone calls from people in prison with nowhere else to turn, walking alongside farm workers as they organize for collective power, or standing before a judge to argue that justice is for everyone, they fight for our shared humanity and they don’t give up.
From Seattle to Yakima, Kennewick, Wenatchee, and Olympia – thank you to the amazing people who make CLS the organization it is. May you all rest and renew to continue the work in 2024!
