If you are planning to GIVE BIG this week, we hope you’ll include CLS in your generosity. In just the past month, we:

• won Lambert v. Kittitas County, confirming jails cannot force poor people to pay for medical debt incurred during their incarceration;
• were granted class certification in Ta’afulisia v. DCYF so we can represent all the young people who have been wrongfully transferred from juvenile rehabilitation at Green Hill School to adult prisons;
• wrapped up a legislative session spent fighting for bills that would advance racial and economic equity in Washington; and
• launched our 2023 Imagine Justice Youth Art Celebration & Contest!
